The only problems people have with the Vista skin's on XP are that the close/minimize/restore buttons don't glow right, and also the Vista Orb (start button) isn't fully round, it's cut off at the top because XP can't get it to overlap with the software windows.
But they do look good, just depends what theme you use and how you adapt it.
