Nokia N96 specifications seems certain that the benchmarks shows that late in the N85. Although overall performance is slower, uses a chipset STn8810 more energy efficient. Battery must be good, but with only 950 mAh.

The Nokia N96 was possibly the most eagerly anticipated phone release of 2008. But that's partly because we'd been anticipating it for so long! Lengthy delays usually mean that the engineers struggled to deliver what the marketing boys promised, and there were plenty of signs of this when the N96 finally appeared in the shops.

N96 is better than N85. N96 is most prefer than N85. Because it is very decent in look than other mobile phones. It is a slider mobile phone so it prefers more because slider mobiles looks good than simple phones. It has 5.0 mega plxel camera so the image quality and resolution is very good.

Nokia N96 has integrated with 5 mega pixels camera, which is sufficient to give high quality images. This camera is integrated with optics Carl Zeiss Tessar, which allows you to click very clear and attractive images.

I think there are no major different in N96 and N85. Both phone have dual slider including numeric keypad, 5 MP camera. N96 has 2.8″ display and 16 GB micro SD slot Where as N85 has Symbian S60 OS and 2.6 OLED display.
