Group Visits
With up to 40km panoramic views on a clear day, the London Eye offers your group stunning views of London and its famous landmarks. The difficult choice will be whether to visit during the day when landmarks are most visible, or after dark for a truly spectacular vista of London's lights. The London Eye welcomes larger groups of visitors and is the perfect compliment to any day out in London. We offer a 10% discount to groups of 15 or more fare paying guests for either the London Eye or the London Eye River Cruise. If you wish to guarantee that your group travels together in the same capsule, a private capsule must be booked. Each capsule can accommodate up to 25 people. Other benefits include fast track entrance and a complimentary in-flight guide for each guest. You can also opt to include hospitality such as champagne or a host for your capsule to enhance the experience further. How to book Groups of 15 or more can save time by booking in advance with our dedicated call centre. The benefits of booking in advance include no queuing to buy your tickets and having the tickets in your hand upon arrival (dependent upon when you book). Concerned about queuing? It is our policy to provide a 'Fast Track' service for elderly and disabled guests that feel they might encounter problems with the queuing process. If you require this service, please do not hesitate to make it known to a member of our team on the day and we will assist you wherever possible. We recommend you pre-book your tickets through the disabled booking line +44 (0)870 990 8885. Please note that if you have several non-disabled guests accompanying you, we may not be able to Fast Track the whole group. In this situation we may ask you to wait near the boarding platform entrance, until the rest of your non-disabled group has reached you in the queue. If you would like to avoid our queues entirely, we recommend that you visit at one of our quieter times; weekdays in school term time, particularly first thing in the morning and after 4.00pm. Guests with a hearing or visual impairment The London Eye is a very visual attraction. To make the most of your visit, you may wish to purchase our guidebook or in-flight guide, which points out all the sites that you will see. We permit guide dogs on to the London Eye. T-loops systems are available on our London Eye River Cruise for hearing impaired guests. These are available in English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Japanese and Mandarin. Alternatively, we have an account with Typetalk. Please call our disabled booking line for this service on +44 (0)870 990 8885. Wheelchair users On the London Eye The wheel itself will be stopped or slowed to allow the safe embarkation and disembarkation of wheelchair users and guests with walking difficulties. Please notify a member of staff if you require this service. Members of staff will always be on hand to assist guests (if required), however due to the potential risks to both our guests and staff, we are unable to physically lift guests into and out of capsules. If you are likely to require assistance to board the capsule, you are advised to bring a carer with you (their ticket is free). Due to safety restrictions, only two wheelchairs per capsule and up to eight wheelchairs are allowed on the London Eye at the same time. Wheelchair spaces should be pre-booked in advance. During busy periods, wheelchair users are strongly advised to pre-book to avoid disappointment. To make a booking, please call our disabled booking line on +44 (0)870 990 8885. Wheelchair loan service We have a limited number of wheelchairs available for loan at the customer service desk inside our ticket office in County Hall. Please note that this service is provided on a 'first come first served' basis, is subject to availability and requires a deposit of £350.00 using a credit card. It can not be pre-booked. These wheelchairs are for use solely at the London Eye for the duration of the flight and can not be taken off site. Disabled access How to reach the London Eye by car There are three car parks located on the South Bank, within a five minute walk of the London Eye. These include Golden Jubilee Bridges, under Hayward Gallery and under the Royal National Theatre. These car parks all have disabled parking bays. Dropping off groups at the London Eye If you are bringing a group by minibus or coach and need to drop off and pick up your group at the London Eye, please note that space is very limited and you are required to book a coach-parking bay. This service is complimentary, but must be booked in advance by calling our disabled booking line on +44 (0)870 990 8885. Please note that you are only permitted to use a parking bay for 20 minutes whilst you drop off and then pick up your group and you are not permitted to stay whilst the group visits the London Eye. By tube and train The London Eye is accessible from Waterloo tube and mainline station and Westminster tube station. From Waterloo mainline train station, wheelchair users should head to the Waterloo International terminal, using the lifts to access the ground floor. Having exited Waterloo International, follow the clear signs directing you to the London Eye. At York Road, use the pedestrian crossing to your immediate right. Go straight ahead ahead Chicheley Street and you'll see the London Eye in front of you. Go through the landscape area. Disabled access to County Hall is on your left as you go through the landscape.
