you'd like to update my ps3 to 3.10 is it possible to do by flash rather than by downloading from the ps3

and how would you know which region is your PS3?

--> I think the PS3 updates are universal, you can download it from the US and UK website, copy it to a memory stick or burn it to a CD, and you can do the update on the PS3 by going to the SYSTEM UPDATE, and select STORAGE.

But when you do the download, first you have to create the folders PS3=>UPDATE (case sensitive) on your PC and copy the the update file to the folder, and then you can burn it to a CD or copy it to a memory stick.
Anyone have idea?
