Are you a Google Analytics Certified Partner? Is it worth it?

I was wondering if anybody on these boards is a Google Analytics Certified Partner or Yahoo Search Marketing Partner?

What do you guys think about these certifications and the benefits it will bring? I know that is difficult to obtain these memberships because they require something like $1,000 minimum spending in AdWords, or a minimum number of ads with Yahoo partners or whatnot.

If you are a part of these brings, could you tell me more about your experience and the benefits it brings? Much thanks for your insights.

By studying the courses you will no doubt learn things you didn't know. So if analytics is vital to your role or your career then you may be able to benefit.

And the qualification may make you more attractive to prospective employers.

But I don't think the benefits are worth the time, effort and money involved, unless perhaps you plan to be a professional analytics specialist.
