Search engines do not look at the image, which is why you need to tell search engines what the image you reflect. Let's assume you have the image of a cat on your blog, the search engines to find this is a cat's image. This is not true! They do not have any idea, what is your image reflected. How do search engines know about how the picture. You can use. ALT tag, image file name.

Optimising images for the web is a catchy business. You have to get the right balance between filesize and picture quality. It is an essential step though. Look at any webpage, and you will see that most of its load time comes from images. Your website will be needlessly slow if you don't drop the sizes of these images.

Another useful tip is to use thumbnails. Thumbnails are miniature versions of a picture that are hyperlinked to its actual size version. The thumbnail will load fast, and by clicking on it your visitors will be able to see the actual size version.
