Here's my rather large collection of hand embroidery books -- includes crewel, cutwork, ribbon embroidery, cross stitch, surface embroidery, sashiko, silk shading/ thread painting, blackwork, hardenger, beading, whitework.
All are either pdf, djvu, or jpg format, with some xsd files. Many are not in English, but have diagrams/pictures of the embroidery designs (I've found google translate helpful when I need anything beyond photos/outlines).
There's a text doc in the torrent with the book titles, type of embroidery, and language.
