Strangely enough, Battlefield 2 ships with just one gameplay mode, but the conquest mode is what made Battlefield what is today. Conquest is essentially a sprawling, king-of-the-hill-style game with multiple control points (doubling as spawn points) scattered on the map. Each team gets a limited number of tickets, or spawns, to draw upon in the battle for control of these points. The winner is the side that can either capture all the control points and eliminate the opposing team entirely, or whittle down the opposing team's tickets to zero. It's a fairly simple formula, but it sets the stage for the wild and memorable virtual battles that take place.

Battlefield 2 - one of the best networking team games with support for single-mode in the genre of tactical shooter with elements of strategy and role-playing game from the company Digital Illusions CE, published by Electronic Arts and released in late June 2005. The game, while maintaining all the best elements of Battlefield 1942 and Battlefield Vietnam, puts the player in today's most advanced, where military clashes involving only the most advanced combat systems, better armored vehicles, planes, helicopters and huge stockpiles of small arms and explosives. In network battles on one battlefield simultaneously be able to participate up to 64 players.
