Take-Two reveals sales of GTA IV

Take Two, the parent company and distributor of Rockstar has unveiled sales of Grand Theft Auto IV.

The game has sold 8.5 million games since its launch on April 29 until May 31, when the closing fiscal quarter. The distribution of games reaches, for its part, the 11 million. In fact, sales of the game are primarily responsible (representing 78% of total sales of the company in the quarter) from net income of $ 98.2 million have registered.

The game reached its first million on the same night that the sale was made, and exceeded six million its first week on sale, generating a turnover of 500 million U.S. dollars.
