New Disgea game coming to PSP!

The Disgaea series debuted on the PlayStation Portable with the 2006 Japanese release of Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness, a streamlined port of the franchise-launching tactics role-playing game. Now the turn-based franchise is getting an on-the-go encore with Prinny: Ore ga shyujinkou de iinsuka for the PSP.




As reported today by Dengeki Online, the game is set for release November 20 in Japan. Roughly translated as Prinny: Is It Really Ok That I'm the Main Character, the game is a side-scrolling action spin-off featuring the amoral penguinlike henchmen of the series, commonly known as Prinnies.
After someone steals demon princess Etna's sweets, the enraged victim orders her faithful Prinny henchmen to find the "ultimate sweets" or else face her terrible wrath. The game includes 10 stages, adaptive difficulty settings, and a story spanning a single lengthy day in the life of the Prinnies.
As of press time, a representative with Nippon Ichi Software America had not returned GameSpot's request for comment on the game's fate outside of Japan
