The game's plot tells of a fictional conflict in Tajikistan, which unfolds over three acts. Parties to the conflict are the U.S. Army and the liberation forces of China.
The main focus of Operation Flashpoint: Red River is on co-operative with the passage of four people. The choice of them will be presented to four classes of characters: the shooter, a grenadier, machine gunner and scout.
