PS3 gets v2.60 firmware update, Photo Gallery, DivX 3.11 support

Sony has officially announced the firmwarehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firmware updates coming up for PS3Sony E3 2008 Announcements .
The most talked about feature of this update is the spanking new Photo Gallery application. So that lets you show off all the digital photo collection you have with the help of “suite of tools” that it comes equipped with.
With the new Photo Gallery options, the PlayStation also gets guest access to the PlayStation Storehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlayStation_Store for non-members to browse and have a sneak peek into the latest gamesGame reviews , demos, videos and more in the Store. And then there is the support for the videos in the format of DivXhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DivX 3.11.
Using the Photo Gallery, images can be organized in groups and sorted by categories that include “camera used to take the photos”, event date, time, even “colors in photos”, and number, ages or facial expressionshttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Expression of the people as well!
These images can be put up in a slideshowhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slideshow with music or a photo playlist can be created to navigate through the photos with an easy-to-use interface.
The application can be downloaded after the PS3’s firmware has been updated, separately from the XMB. Installation can be done via the Photo section on the XMB from which you have to select the Photo Gallery and press the X button

lets just say, my ps3 got stolen and now i got a new one and want to download my stuff onto my new ps3
where do i log onto my new ps3 to download it? or do i need to make a whole new user account then register but enter my email address?
