5800XM Browser - Stay full screen while browsing and going back

Annoyed by the fact that if you're in full screen and if you want to go back, you have to shrink the screen to go back? Well, I have a solution, it's pretty simple actually (10 Simple steps). All it requires is Virtual Key and a config. I will supply the config., but you will need to follow the instructions to complete the setup.


1. Download and install Virtual Key (search the forum for it). Install it to the memory card. DO NOT install to phone memory.
2. Launch Virtual Key from your Applications folder. Then, exit it by choosing “Options” - “Exit”. This will create the necessary configuration directory for Virtual Key on your memory card.
3. Download the config. below.
4. Connect your 5800 to your computer using mass storage mode or memory card to the computer. The memory card will now be seen as a hard disk.
5. Copy the config., and drag “custom1.keymap” and “default.keymap” to the memory card’s “e7d61da9” subfolder under the ”private” folder.
6. Launch Virtual Key again. This time, tap “Options” - “Load mode” - “Custom mode 1″. You will see some settings magically appear.
7. Tap the white right arrow next to the “Settings” tab.
8. Now, check that under the “Include” tab, “Web” appears in the list. If it does not, click options, add from installed and select "Web". Then, click Cancel to go back as there is no back button here. If you get the “Exclude” tab instead, tap “Options” - “Change mode” - “Include” to make the “Include” tab appear.
9. To be safe that Virtual Key has saved all your settings, tap “Options” - “Save as” - “Custom mode 1″. Then to load the new settings, tap “Options” - “Load mode” - “Custom mode 1″.
10. Now, press options and run in background. Open the Browser, go to full screen and you'll never have to reduce the screen size!


So, to recap, the green button acts as the left soft key, the red button acts as the right soft key and your camera button will act as the "ok" button, but it's not used here."
