This is the unabridged reading of "Lyndon Johnson and the American Dream" by Doris Kearns. The book was written in 1976, and this recording was made by Blackstone Audio in 1993. This audio book was read by Mary Woods.

This is an extremely rare audiobook, produced on twelve 90 minute cassettes (no CD version ever made). It has been out of print for nearly 20 years. This audiobook has been converted to 24 mp3 files (one file for each cassette side). Each mp3 file is slightly under 45 minutes long, except for the last one, which is just under a half hour long.

The original source quality was very poor, and I did my best to clean it up, so that it is quite listenable and fully comprehensible. However, it is still only satisfactory at best. Having said that though, Mary Woods is a wonderful reader, and she is a joy to listen to.
