This, is the first of its online courses- caregiver series. In this course, we will talk about what it means to be a caregiver, what are the roles and responsibilities, how does one cope with the many challengers with caring for someone and so much more. Coupled with real life examples, reflection points and quizzes, this course is suited for those about to embark on or already navigating through the caregiving journey.
This course aims to provide a caregiver with the basics to care for a person in the home setting.
This course also comprises three sections and after which, you will be able to:
1.Describe the common roles and qualities of a caregiver
2. Identify the emotional needs of the caregiver
3. Explain good hygiene and grooming practices
4. Describe effective communication skills
5. List the food preparation and oral feeding processes
