does this work if you are not already jailbroken?
Like a dope, I allowed itunes to update my 3GS to 3.1. I was not already jailbroken; I figured worst case I could always downgrade :P
I don't have an ECID cached on Cydia either. I suspect the answer is no, but just in case I'll ask ... will this custom ipsw be accepted on a non-downgradable, non-jailbroken 3.1 3GS?
